ATI Adaptive Mental Health Assessment

After completing this second assessment, I think that I did well overall and that I was able to improve on some test taking strategies. For instance, I was able to change my answers less, I recalled more of the information correctly, and I read the questions more thoroughly than I did before. However, I still need to work on being quicker when answering the questions. I still took awhile to read through the options and choose the answer I wanted because I didn’t want to get it wrong and I didn’t want to end up changing my answer. I believe that this was a good first step for me and my test taking strategy and if I can reduce the time on each question than I will be in a better spot for future ATI assessments that we take.

  1. Great insight again, John. Next semester in Transition to Practice you will formally revisit the NurseLogic 2.0 modules. Consistent use of the priority-setting frameworks will support testing speed and accuracy as you think critically about the questions and answer choices.
