My name is John LaPointe and I am the creator of this page through WordPress. I am a candidate for the ABSN expected to graduate in August of 2021. I graduated from UNE in 2019 with a previous degree in Medical Biology with a minor in Psychology. During my first degree, I was involved in the NOLA volunteering club, I played on the club baseball team, and I worked at the library on the Biddeford campus. After graduating, I took a year off and worked two jobs in the medical field. One as a phlebotomist and one driving for an ambulance service. In that year, I really found my appreciation for nursing and the job that they do. My goal in this program is to work in the Emergency Department of any hospital and to one day become a Nurse Practitioner.
