ATI Nursing Care of Children Adaptive Quiz Reflection

During this adaptive quiz, I think it went better than my previous quizzes. I did not misread as many questions or answers and I took the appropriate amount of time on most of the questions. I was able to recall information faster and I think this is due to being back into the swing of the semester. However, I do still need to work on reading the questions better, taking breaks when needed, and reading the answers more closely to make sure there are no key words. When starting an exam, I feel like I need to finish it once I start, but that is not the case, especially with the adaptive quizzes. I always think the next question will be my last and most of the time, that is not the case. I need to do better at taking the breaks so that I can give my mind a rest and refocus on the quiz. I also need to be better at reading the questions and answers so that I do not miss key information. I have improved on that from past assessments, but I still need to work on it so that I do not misread or miss any important information.

I will carry this information to the next assessments by taking breaks when I need them, reading all of the information and answers closely, and taking my time on the questions so that I retain everything the question wants me to.
